We could send you to Jo'burg...

We wern't out of luck or out of work, but we did find ourselves, yet again in Jo'burg.
Met a friend who took us out to a posh place in Hyatt. There was a lively bar just across the way playing live music (all the favorites, not the least of which was Toto) and the ostrich steak was delicious!
I was startled to see a familiar foreign currency being used as the parking token at our hotel. Hmm...
Went to the lovely Rosebank pan-African crafts market. Was greeted by the silver surfer in the car park...
We made our rounds to all our favorite artists/vendors. Here is the talented jewerly maker from Sudan.
And the ever so friendly vendors of hand-crafted beaded Kenyan sandals.
Finally, the pretty embroiderer from Madagascar.
Of course, we support local Gabs artists/vendors too! Here is our Kenyan rasta friend and his neighboring vendor from Congo with his beautiful copper art pieces.
